Margaret Lanelle (Rose) Langston

Margaret Rose Langston was born January 5, 1937, in Rosiclare, Illinois, where she was raised. She passed from this life February 2nd and is now with her Lord. In April 1962, Margaret and her husband Bob Langston moved to Fayetteville where he established the Cape Fear Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Langston, in late 2014; her parents, Thomas Rose and Vivian Rose; her sisters, Virginia Ruth McNeese and Gerry King; and her grandson, Wilson Langston.

She is survived by her son, Jay Langston and his wife, Jacqueline, Lewisburg, Tennessee; her daughter, Gwendolyn Jennen, Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, Luke Langston and Sarah Matei.

A memorial service will be held at the Cape Fear Church of Christ, February 15, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.
